Eran Shmueli comes from a distinguished family of artists
from Ein- Hod and has been immersed in the world of art from an early age.
A graduate of the Wizo School of Arts, he has played an active role in the Shmueli family’s artistic legacy, contributing to numerous creative endeavors over the years.
Eran’s work spans public and private spaces across Israel and internationally.
He has led large-scale artistic projects in major hospitals across Israel, Ben Gurion Airport, and the Jerusalem Zoo, as well as designing public playgrounds for children nationwide. His influence extends beyond Israel, with notable international projects, including a church in São Paulo and hospitals in Africa.
His artistic process is rooted in precision and natural inspiration. Working primarily with a technical pen, specialty papers, and natural materials, Eran creates pieces that capture depth, rhythm, and movement. His art is deeply
influenced by the organic patterns found in nature—spiraling ocean currents, synchronized schools of fish, and the seamless flow of life itself. These elements bring a sense of harmony and continuity to his work.
Eran’s main studio, located by the sea in the picturesque Greek village of Lesbos, provides the perfect setting for his creative process. The rhythmic sound of the waves fosters a meditative atmosphere, allowing him to paint for hours in deep focus. This tranquil yet dynamic energy of nature is reflected in his art, infusing any space with a unique balance of movement and serenity.
